On June 4, 2006, over 30 men, women, and children marched under the Bellerose Jewish
Center banner at the Salute to Israel Parade. The BJC was marching with other local
synagogues under the banner of the Northeast Queens Jewish Community Council. It was
a rewarding experience for the marchers, and the second time in recent years that the BJC
has marched as a group in the parade.
